Hi, I’m Floralie Resa.
I’m a French writer, bisexual activist, and researcher whose work focuses on biphobia, bisexual erasure in science and media, bisexual women in heterosexual relationships, and the social dynamics that shape anti-bisexual prejudice.
I am the author of The Architecture of Biphobia, an essay exploring the structures, narratives, and institutions that sustain biphobia across contemporary society.
Over the past several years, I have worked to support and develop Bi+ communities in France and Belgium. I co-founded the Francophone Bi and Pan Network, and many new collectives in France and Belgium have used my writing as a starting point for community organizing, political education, and discussion.
Outside of my work on bisexuality and LGBTQ+ issues, I am also an environmental geochemist.
Most of my writing is published in French, but I am translating my work into English to connect with readers, researchers, activists, and organizations working on bisexuality worldwide.

The Architecture of Biphobia
If you’re here for my essay The Architecture of Biphobia, welcome!
You can read The Architecture of Biphobia here in english, translated from the original French. Please read this bisexual-theory-baguette with a cigarette and the hatred of Macron in your heart for a true french experience. I based my essay on international bisexual data, I promise, it talks about bisexuality in general, not only french-bisexuality (which consists of cheating your husband with a gorgeous woman in the Tour Eiffel elevator).
